George Foster was a five-time All-Star baseball player and a member of the 1970s Big Red Machine a nickname given to the Cincinnati Reds for winning the National League Championships six times in a row along with several other championship titles. During those six years Foster led the team in home runs in '77 and 78 runs battled from '76 to '78 and on-base plus slugging in '77. Throughout his career he had a .274 batting average completed a total of 348 home runs and played in 1 977 games making him one of the top five hundred home run hitters and one of the top one hundred baseball players of all time.
